Submitting An Event to the Community Calendar


All submissions will be reviewed before posting to the city's Community Calendar. The city has the discretion to determine which public events will be included in the calendar. The events should provide entertainment, food or other attractions to a diverse population, and promote the economic benefits of tourism or enhance the quality of life of the community. All events must be open to the general public (for free or cost), located within the City of Greenville and organized for non-profit purposes.

Planning & Dev Project Previews

Project Preview meetings give residents a first look at upcoming development projects and an opportunity to ask questions to the developers who create them. The meetings will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of every month at the Prisma Health Welcome Center, in Unity Park, with the next being on September 26. Projects of major public interest may be scheduled separately, from 6 to 7 p.m. A listing of the projects will be posted on the city website calendar a week in advance. The open-house style of meeting will allow residents to stop by any time. There are no formal presentations, however city staff will be available to listen and respond to any procedural questions. For residents who are unable to attend a meeting, comments or concerns about projects may reach out directly to the developer or email planning@greenvillesc.gov. Messages will be routed to appropriate staff. All emails will receive a response.
