Submitting An Event to the Community Calendar


All submissions will be reviewed before posting to the city's Community Calendar. The city has the discretion to determine which public events will be included in the calendar. The events should provide entertainment, food or other attractions to a diverse population, and promote the economic benefits of tourism or enhance the quality of life of the community. All events must be open to the general public (for free or cost), located within the City of Greenville and organized for non-profit purposes.

YouthBASE Learning for Life

For the first time, YouthBASE will host a fundraising event to support its evidence-based afterschool and summer programs for young children. The evening will include: • the opportunity to hear personal testimonials from parents and teachers • a raffle with a chance to win exciting curated themed packages, like travel and performing arts • fine wines, craft beers, ciders, and delicious hors d'oeuvres

At YouthBASE, we believe that every child has unique potential for success. Our mission is to equip children in K5-2nd grades with the Behavioral, Academic, Social and Emotional skills they need to succeed at school, at home and in the community. We utilize evidenced-based intervention strategies through our afterschool and summer programs to ensure that children are grade-level ready by third grade.
